I think we have to ask about the hotel and waterpark - find out when if ever they will be built.

Also I think you should ask what plans he has for new rides and attractions for the next few years.

Are there any plans to remove the Buffalo Coaster?

I've been hearing lots of rumours lately that it is going soon.

Any plans to replace shockwave or g-force?
Any plans for a launch coaster (Geurstlauer/maurer sohne) or SLC
Any chances of being granted new land expansion sooner than 2020?

I'd like to know that too, it would be great if the park could expand because at the moment it is a bit on the small side. :D

1) Anything happening with Golden Nuggets?

I heard it was being rethemed to match Drunken Barrels. Wouldn't that be a bit strange though to have a random little german area by The Haunting.

2) Is Excalibur getting upgraded?

I heard a rumour about that too. There's soooo many rumours.

3) Any plans for new rides and are they thrill or family rides?

Thanks To Colin for the fast reply:

First of All Luke:

1.The Buffalo is not being changed but always comes up in debate at business meetings and will one day be in need of renewal for a runaway train AKA Phantasia Vekoma.

2. NO. No renewals are due on any of those rides

W2K09:

1. ? maybe.(launched coaster)

2. No permission from Planners for Green belt expansion

Peet:

1. Hotel in as we e-mail for an alteration to 150 bedrooms from 87. The hotel starts at the end of 2009.

2. No Spa and no water park. But A 40 strong cabin/cottage build with each cabin housing from 4 up to 10 people in2/3/4/5 bedrooms to each cabin. A Woodland spa with indoor Water park will be built at the back of the Hotel and cabins for these guests to use. However the huge water park is a no go area due again to planners never allowing such a development.

Seanboyuk.

1. 2010 IS OUR 60th year watch this space. New Hotel and ?????.

Andy.

1. I am disgusted with today’s youth and their damage ratio, but we deal with it and try always to alleviate the problems by improvements. But I have seen more damage than now years ago, from the sixties being the worst.

2. As I am 60 yrs of age now and my two sons William 36 and George at 33 they are the future and we have 4 Grandchildren to follow them. Then my Nephew Edward at 35 [3 children] and Niece Helen 31.

3. The Snake train which my Father invented after the 2nd WW in 1946, there were 5 models and the last went in 1986 due to a major accident. It is due to be re painted and exhibited soon.

Tom
1. What ride would I like. Mmmm? A suspended coaster, a new haunted ride and a water shoot the shoot. Difficult to realise when we are squeezed by planners .A modified water ride will be on the books soon. Maybe Excalibur!

2. Again money no object? Indiana Jones [style] adventure ride in 4x4 Jeeps similar to Disney’s Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom or the Disney Land ride in California, which cost 60 million Dollars.

2009 INFO

Is there anything else this winter.

· A...New 4D Cinema entrance in Art Deco style, which will show 4D Halloween next year during Halloween and Xmas 4D next winter.

· new Coffee Stop with 1950’s styling with bench seating for 60 people inside,

· New Palladium Haute Couture shop twice the size of existing.

· a BRAND new Chicken Diner to replace the Miners Chicken Diner. Inside seating for 80 and 120 under veranda, all styled like a seaside wooden shiplap structure with central ships mast and new sales, kitchen and seating. A new Chicken Joes chicken product hot spicy chicken pieces in a tortia wrap and still our Chicken Nuggets & curly fries.

· A brand new Burger service restaurant now being designed with twice the cooking capacity of last one. With covered seating patio for 180 people. Newly refitted upstairs, counters and stairs.

· 1500 more car park spaces , drainage , path ways and gates 2 and 3 reopening to ease the restricted flow for when we are busy.

Colin is also going to find out about the G-Force music for us.

Thanks Alot Colin if your reading this for answering our question and we shall definitely look forward to future years at the park.

They were looking round the top cafe on the last day of the season so that maybe updated in the closed season. The fish and chip shop needs it aswell.

I think Drayton will get a launched coaster for 2010.
This is because Colin said a launched coaster is being thought about and 'apparantly' a new launched coaster is opening somewhere in the UK for 2010 and he says 2010 is their 60th anniversery and their opening the hotel and ???

I hope so! :D
